LASR request issue resolved

The respective vendors have resolved all issues.

Earlier this week the University Libraries transitioned our library catalog from a local server to “the cloud.”

Unfortunately, an unanticipated problem occurred and our catalog is not communicating with our Library Automated Storage and Retrieval system. This means that patrons cannot request items from LASR.

However, these items are still retrievable. Please contact a member of the circulation staff and we can manually retrieve the items you need from LASR.  Please understand that this process is not automated and does take longer.

We are working with the two vendors to resolve this problem as rapidly as possible.
