The Inuit siku (sea ice) Atlas (http://sikuatlas.ca/) was developed as part of an International Polar Year project called The Inuit Sea Ice Use and Occupancy Project (ISIUOP), based at Carleton University, through the collaboration of many northern, academic, government, and private industry contributors. This online, interactive, multi-media atlas is a compilation of Inuit sea ice knowledge and use, as documented by university and community researchers, in several Nunavut communities between 2004 - 2008.
