Statistical Bureau - Japan
Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication's Statistical Bureau contains many different collections of stats and data in English. It also contains an online version of the Japan Statistical Yearbook, Population Census, and Consumer Price Index.
UNdata
UNdata is the United Nations Data Access System which provides access to current, relevant and reliable statistics. Some data goes back 60 years. The domains covered are agriculture, education, energy, industry, labour, national accounts, population and tourism. You can also find indicators such as Millennium Development Goals.
World Trade Organization Annual Report
Coverage: 1998-2004(ceased publication). Contains international trade statistics compiled and analyzed by WTO economists and statisticians. Data can be displayed as MS Excel tables or charts.
