American Anthropologist
American Anthropologist is the flagship journal of the American Anthropological Association. American Ethnologist
American Ethnologist is a quarterly journal concerned with ethnology in the broadest sense of the term. Cultural Anthropology

Current Anthropology
Current Anthropology is a transnational journal devoted to research on humankind, encompassing the full range of anthropological scholarship on human cultures and on the human and other primate species. Communicating across the subfields, the journal features papers in a wide variety of areas, including social, cultural, and physical anthropology as well as ethnology and ethnohistory, archaeology and prehistory, folklore, and linguistics.
Human Organization
Human Organization is the journal of the Society for Applied Anthropology. Its primary objective is the scientific investigation of the principles controlling the relations of human beings to one another and the wide application of these principles to practical problems. The journal regularly includes sections on government and industry, health and medical care, and international affairs. Articles report the application of concepts of social/behavioral science to issues and problems in the contemporary world.
Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute
The Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute is the principal journal of the oldest anthropological organization in the world. It has attracted and inspired some of the world's greatest thinkers. International in scope, it presents accessible papers aimed at a broad anthropological readership. It is also acclaimed for its extensive book review section, and it publishes a bibliography of books received.

Encyclopedia of World Cultures
1996 ed. Lists and describes more than 1,500 global cultures. It is the one of the primary resources for historical, social, political, economic, linguistic, religious, and other information on most cultures. Additional cultures are covered in the supplement (which is a separate resource)

American Anthropological Association
Website of the American Anthropological Association. Founded in 1902, the American Anthropological Association (AAA) is the world's largest organization of individuals interested in anthropology. In Richard B. Woodbury's words, ". . .the AAA has remained the central society for the discipline, addressing with considerable success its increasingly varied interests and speaking for anthropology to other fields, the federal and state governments, and the public".
Cultural Survival
Cultural Survival was founded in response to the opening up of the Amazonian and South American hinterlands during the 1960s, and the drastic effects this had on indigenous inhabitants. It has since worked with indigenous communities in Asia, Africa, South America, North America, and Australia, becoming the leading US-based organization defending the rights of indigenous peoples around the world. The organization's website provides access to articles from two publications, Cultural Survival Quarterly and Cultural Voices, as well as news and updates about indigenous communities worldwide.
Survival International
Survival is the only international organization supporting tribal peoples worldwide. Founded in 1969, the organizations's website provides news about tribal issues as well as educational material/information about tribal peoples worldwide. They believe that public opinion is the most effective force for change, and its power will make it harder, and eventually impossible, for governments and companies to oppress tribal peoples.
